Overview

Washington State University was established in 1890 as the state's original land-grant university. WSU as it is popularly known comprises 11 colleges that offer a wide variety of accredited undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. WSU offers over 1,504 study abroad programmes in 82 countries around the world. There is a low student to faculty ratio of 15:1 and over 80% of the classes have less than 50 students. The University has a strong international student community and there are over 300 on-campus student organisations.
