ANNIVERSARY OF UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE CITY CELEBRATION
July - September, Bandar Hilir, Melaka
In 2008, George Town was accorded the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List of Cities and Sights for its 'outstanding universal value'; to celebrate this, the Melaka Historical City Council with Melaka Museum Corporation (PERZIM) initiated the month long celebration filled with cultural and music shows, traditional crafts demonstrations and exhibitions. The 2012 celebration will begin in July.
