Online Study with CQU
While the challenges of COVID-19 called for a necessary and temporary transition to online learning, CQUniversity continues to deliver teaching and learning to the highest standard. The university’s reputation as a leader in online delivery backed by decades of experience, means its online study will be engaging, creative and informative.
Students who start studying now will be months ahead of those who contemplate or delay their studies because of the current situations with COVID-19.
All CQUniversity classes have moved online temporarily and are open for application. The application process and start dates for all courses remain unchanged for future intakes.
Students looking to study on campus may begin their course online, then transition to on campus study once the Australian borders reopen.
If students accept their offer for term 3 by October 9, which commences on November 9, they can avail an early bird concession that will offer them a reduction of their tuition fee by AUD 1000. This amount will be considered as credit towards their next term of study. Students must meet all requirements listed in the offer letter. Students looking to study completely online can follow the usual application process.
Recently, the Australian Government announced changes to student visa arrangements to help support international students. It has recommenced granting students Australian student visas, ensuring that when borders reopen, they will be able to make necessary travel arrangements. New students who commence their studies online owing to COVID-19 and receive their student visas can use that study towards a post-study work visa.
CQUniversity is rated five stars for its teaching by the 2019 QS Stars, reflecting its innovative teaching approaches and the high calibre of its teaching staff. CQUniversity is divided into a number of schools, all delivering a broad spectrum of courses in their respective fields, from vocational qualifications through to research higher degrees.
Its courses have been designed to prepare graduates to be job ready as exemplified in the provision of internships in the Bachelor of Accounting, Master of Professional Accounting, Bachelor of Business, Master of Business Management, Master of Human Resource Management, Master of Management for Engineers and the Master of Project Management.

CQUniversity offers generous scholarships as a form of financial aid to help students reach their potential and build on their career aspirations. Every year, the university provides approximately AUD 24 million in scholarships to support international students. The university also has access to scholarships funded by the Australian government as well as other external organisations.
