There are eight academic schools at ECU, each offering a diverse range of courses:
School of Arts & Humanities
Subject areas covered in the School of Arts & Humanities span from contemporary arts to social sciences. Students are encouraged to study modules in different areas of the school for a broad education.
School of Business & Law
Courses at ECU’s School of Business & Law are designed with a heavy focus on industry needs. Students can opt to study law, finance, marketing, and much more.
School of Education
The biggest of its kind in Western Australia, the School of Education is for students who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of younger generations. All courses are rich with useful practical experience.
School of Engineering
ECU’s School of Engineering offers programmes covering all kinds of engineering – from electronics to naval architecture. Courses are accredited by Engineers Australia and recognised by the Washington Accord.
School of Medical & Health Sciences
For those interested in biomedical science, environmental health, occupational safety and other related areas, the School of Medical & Health Sciences has an extensive range of courses on offer.
School of Nursing & Midwifery
A large number of specialist courses are available from the School of Nursing & Midwifery, all with sufficient theory and practical experience included.
School of Science
Providing a wide variety of programmes, the School of Science will stretch the minds of students who wish to study computing, biology, mathematics or one of the other many related areas.
Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts
Well known across Australia and recognised around the world, WAAPA’s courses cover everything performing arts-wise, both on stage and behind scenes.
