One of the best things about the life on campus at Western Sydney University is that there’s always something happening through WESTERNLife. Ranging from table tennis comps, sports and unigames, outdoor chess, to one of the many social events which are organised by Western Sydney University or its student clubs, the University’s students are bound to find something which fits them and is right for them.
Western aims to provide a rich educational experience through the adoption and provision of new and emerging technologies. These include online learning environments, research and clinical facilities, social learning spaces, and state-of-the-art computer laboratories.
Students can also make use of transport services provided with free shuttle buses run regularly between train stations and campuses.
On-campus accommodation
Students have the option of choosing from a variety of on-campus accommodation options that are affordable and of a high-quality. A good balance between the living and learning environment provides the ideal student experience.
Western Sydney University Village offers students excellent value for money. Staying on campus means students save money on transport and have access to free shuttle bus services, or they can simply walk to their campus.
Villages at Western are available on the Bankstown, Campbelltown, Nirimba, Hawkesbury, Parramatta and Penrith campus. All are fully furnished and self-catering, with the additional option of having 24-hour support. Whatever campus a student chooses they will be part of an exciting community with many activities and events in which to participate.
Students can receive a discount of 50 per cent on rental costs for 24 and 48 week accommodation packages in 2021 through the Western Sydney University Village Accommodation Scholarships program.
