Canada ranks fifth in the world as a global aerospace supplier. This project is the first step towards creating an aerospace training and research hub for the development of new technologies in Ontario. The project receives CAD18.4 million in national Strategic Investment Funds (SIF), and CAD25.8 million from the Ontario provincial government. The four-acre Centennial College Downsview Aerospace Campus serves as the new home of Centennial's Aviation Maintenance and Aerospace Manufacturing programmes. The vision for the new Campus is to be a comprehensive educational and research facility. This major new development furthers Centennial’s position as a leader in avionics, aircraft maintenance and manufacturing education. The new campus will house an innovation and research working group that brings together industry leaders and academic partners, including University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies, Ryerson University, York University, Bombardier and others.

Centennial College has five campuses and seven specialized academic schools, offering more than 160 diploma, degree, and graduate programmes.

The Canadian Technology Accreditation Board has recognized 21 programmes in SETAS, the largest number of nationally accredited programmes of any college in Canada.
The School features a full-service restaurant, event centre, hotel-style guest rooms, state-of-the-art culinary labs, commercial baking and pastry labs, and interactive classrooms. Experiential learning opportunities help students gain valuable hands-on experience before entering the industry.

Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services (ARIES) at Centennial creates world-class opportunities for students to work on applied research projects funded through federal and provincial research grants, investment by industry partners and Centennial. Paid research positions for students are available in fields such as sustainable energy, environmental sciences, wireless networking, animation and gaming, aviation and automation, health, digital media, hospitality and global citizenship. Of the over 125 community colleges in Canada, Centennial is third for the number of college students employed and paid for conducting applied research activities. In 2015, Centennial received first prize for Innovation in Applied Research in Canada from Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).

Global Experience Opportunities (GEO) offer funding and support for experiences abroad, including international internships, semester exchanges, faculty lead international programs, short-term service learning projects, language and culture learning, and international conferences and competitions.
International Student Advisors and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC’s) on campus make it easy to get expert advice on work permits, immigration matters and newcomer support.
Employment Advisors support international students with career planning and counselling, offer personalised job search support with resumé, interview preparation and portfolio development, and host workshops, career fairs and networking events to support career goals.
More than 300 International Student Ambassadors have volunteered to host events, information sessions, tours, trips and social activities that help welcome and engage new international and exchange students at Centennial. An enthusiastic team representing 20 countries connects newcomers with strong peer and community support.
Centennial received the 2016 Gold Medal for Internationalization Excellence from Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), and Centennial College President, Ann Buller received the 2015 Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) President’s Award for Distinguished Leadership in International Education.
