Overview
NSCAD University is one of Canada’s oldest independent cultural institutions. The University is known for its experimental foundation year program. Students then progress to specialise in art, craft, design, or historical and critical studies. NSCAD’s undergraduate programs involve four years of study, leading to professional degrees and skills and knowledge in a specific field. Highly acclaimed Master of Fine Arts and Master of Design programs are also offered. Students take 42 credits of prescribed Studio and Liberal Arts and Sciences courses, and complete a graduate thesis/degree project.
