Overview

Coast Mountain College (CMTN), previously Northwest Community College (NWCC), was established in 1975 in Terrace, British Columbia. The college has five campuses and is an accredited post-secondary institution that provides students with innovative programs that enable them to build sustainable careers. CMTN offers college access and university credit programs in topics such as health and human services, and trades foundation and apprenticeship. Programs at the college feature small class sizes and innovative and flexible training, reaching communities beyond its campuses through online programs. Coast Mountain College is committed to being the college of choice for place-based, experiential learning that allows students to learn in the classroom and in the spectacular outdoors that are unique to northwest Canada, surrounded by stunning natural scenery and in the midst of rich culture and history.
