Ryerson has over 70 student groups that are social, cultural, religious, and interest-based. Joining student groups is a great way to feel at home on campus. Students always say that getting involved helped them make the most out of their Ryerson experience.
International Student Support (ISS)
ISS supports international students by offering individual assistance, orientation programs, information sessions, and networking events on topics such as immigration support and transitioning to life in Canada.
Student Learning Support (SLS)
SLS is a group of programs and services aimed at helping students engage more effectively in their academic studies. It teaches essential academic skills and study techniques.
Tri-Mentoring Program
The Tri-Mentoring Program offers mentorship opportunities for all students. The program matches first-year students with upper-year students in the same academic program, or with similar interests, in order to help incoming students successfully transition into their 1st year at Ryerson.
Centre for Student Development and Counselling (CSDC)
The CSDC offers free, confidential counselling services for students in a professional and friendly environment. Services, programs, and resources are intended to assist students not only to solve immediate problems, but also to define their personal, educational and career goals.
Ryerson Medical Centre
The Medical Centre is a non-profit unit of Student Affairs that aims to promote a healthy environment for work and study by offering quality health services to current students, staff and faculty.
Academic Accommodation Support (AAS)
AAS helps students who identify as living with a disability or disabilities (such as learning disabilities, sensory impairments, acquired brain injuries, or ADHD, in addition to those who have mental health, medical, and mobility needs). The staff helps students secure academic accommodations, so they can fully participate in their academic experience at Ryerson.
