The University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto is popularly known as St Mike’s. The College traces its origins to St. Mary’s Lesser Seminary that started offering classes in 1852. Students of St. Michael’s College have access to the over 300 programs offered by the Faculty of Arts and Science. The Faculty of Theology is an integral part of St. Mike’s as well with a highly renowned Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry program. The Elliott Allen Institute for Theology & Ecology is a unique project that seeks to address issues of ecological interest through theology.
