The Bachelor of Applied Science / Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Exercise and Sport Science) develops the skills to integrate exercise and physical activity with disease prevention and the promotion of good health, rehabilitation, nutrition and sports performance.

This degree is an exciting and diverse combined degree, offering the opportunity to develop your skills as an exercise scientist with the benefit of experience from advanced coursework and a community, industry, research or entrepreneurship project. You will also complete a major from the shared pool creating a study profile that reflects your expertise in a range of disciplines.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have obtained a ATAR score: 28 -40; English Language Requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0; TOEFL Paper based score of 565; TOEFL IBT: 85; PTE Academic score of 61; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): 58; Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): 45; Cambridge English scale: CAE and CPE: 176.

For international students

Admission to this course is on the basis of the following criteria:

a secondary education qualification (including national and international equivalents), or approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.

TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing.

IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
