The Bachelor of Media and Communication/Bachelor of Business equips students with knowledge and skills essential for a career that encompasses the challenging and dynamic area of media and communication and the business sector.Youll learn how to think critically and to develop problem-solving skills, research issues and analyse information. Gain an understanding of media and media production, public relations and the impact of design on these specialised areas of communication. Gain an understanding of industry laws and regulations, as well as writing and editing skills for novels, non-fiction, creative fiction, scripts, screenwriting, advertising and the web.

Entry requirements

For international students

successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent, such as an interstate or international Year 12 qualification.completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification (including Certificates IV (completed), diplomas, advanced diplomas, associate degrees and degrees)Applicants without a formal qualification may be considered for entry upon completion of the STAT test.VCE Units 3 and 4 – a minimum study score of 25 in any English (except EAL) or 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or equivalent.
