What will I learn?

If you want to learn the practical skills of filmmaking and production, the dynamic and cutting-edge Film Screen Production Major integrates theory and practice to provide emerging filmmakers with the creative and artistic tools needed.You will learn practical skills for film, online and interactive media through hands-on production courses with an excellent range of critical classes to develop your understanding of film history, genres, and cinematic styles.Delivered in small classes by staff with strong industry connections and knowledge, the Film Screen Production Major explores the use of state-of-the-art film equipment, media technologies and production techniques. The practical nature of the Major means you have plenty of opportunities to apply the theory and skills you have learnt, such as working collaboratively and thinking creatively.
