What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Engineering Advanced (Honours) is designed for high academic achievers to undertake advanced engineering topics and gain substantial research experience.

The Bachelor of Engineering Advanced (Honours) is a four-year honours degree program. The program has been designed to meet Engineers Australia professional accreditation requirements. Students have the opportunity to focus on a discipline area by selecting a Major in Advanced Manufacturing, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, Robotic & Mechatronic, or Sustainability engineering. In addition, students can specialise by selecting a Minor from a wide range of recommended subject sets that will complement their chosen discipline.

Industry Recognised

The majors of Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering are fully accredited at the level of professional engineer by Engineers Australia. This ensures that your education is recognised in Australia and abroad. The majors of Advanced Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, and Sustainability Engineering are provisionally accredited at the level of professional engineer. They are expected to transition to fully accredited when the first cohort graduates

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
