What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program is designed for students with interests in learning to address humanity’s issues and challenges through the development and deployment of technical solutions. The future presents significant challenges for managing the environment, infrastructure and technology. The world needs innovative engineering, applied science and design strategies. Focus on a discipline area by selecting a major in Advanced Manufacturing, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, Robotic & Mechatronics, or Sustainability. In addition, you can further specialise by selecting a minor from a wide range of recommended subject sets that will complement your chosen discipline. Note: At the Sydney City campus, this program is available for full-time study only, and only in the specialisations Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. Sydney City Campus semesters commence in March, July and October.

Accreditation

The majors in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering are fully accredited by Engineers Australia at the Penrith, Parramatta, and Sydney City campuses (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering majors only). This ensures that your education is recognised in Australia and abroad. The majors of Advanced Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, and Sustainability Engineering are provisionally accredited at the Penrith and Parramatta campuses. They are expected to transition to fully accredited when the first cohort graduates.
