Work Placement Duration: 70 hours
The course has work placement included as part of the course requirements. International students will undertake 2 weeks for 35 hours per week of work placement. More details will be provided once studies have commenced.
Course Notes
This course can be used as a pre-requisite course where students do not have maths for engineering programs.
The course will be taught in two campuses; 1 day at Tonsley Campus and 2 days at Regency campus.
Employment Outcomes
Successful completion of this course can lead to employment in a drafting office or as an engineering technician.

Certificate III in Engineering - Technical (MEM30505)
This course covers the skills needed to produce drawings and 3D models, and design and develop prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) programs and processes. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 3 core units and 7 elective units.
