Academic: Australian Year 11 equivalent or "O-Levels" with at least 4 credits preferably including Mathematics, English and subjects in the discipline area.

English: Academic IELTS 5.5 with no individual band below 5.0, Pearson PTE Academic 42 overall with no individual communicative skill below 36, or Melbourne Polytechnic recognized equivalency. TOEFL iBT: 49 overall (Writing: 18, Speaking: 16, Reading: 8, Listening: 7); Cambridge English Scale (Cambridge: First (FCE), Cambridge: Advanced (CAE), Cambridge: Proficiency (CPE)): 162 overall (individual bands: 154); Melbourne Polytechnic: ELICOS - 2+ ISLPR overall individual bands: min ISLPR 2.
