The Graduate Certificate in Education is designed for qualified teachers and other educational professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills in a specific area of education at an advanced level. Our postgraduate programs aim to meet the diverse needs of educators, with a strong focus on developing teacher skills to support students in all environments.
A professional development program designed to provide qualified teachers and other educational professionals teaching or intending to teach English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) in adult, community or international contexts with an initial certificate level course which combines theory and practice, including 25 days of supervised professional practice in an intensive ESL setting and or working with ESL classes in mainstream school context.

Students must meet the following selection requirements for entry to the Graduate Certificate of Education and the Master of Education:
A recognised Bachelor degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. Graduate Diploma of Education or Master of Teaching); OR
A four year pre-service teacher education qualification, including professional experience, equivalent to the qualifications required for Graduate teacher status in NSW. An applicant who submits evidence of other equivalent academic and professional qualifications may be permitted to enrol in the degree.
