What will I learn?

This qualification focuses on media content production in a global context. You will learn how to enhance and strengthen your written and verbal communication skills, and develop production skills in print, broadcast and online media. Who is it for? This qualification is intended to meet the needs of current practicing media professionals, or those working in marketing and communications who wish to update and extend your professional skills, or explore new career directions.

Entry requirements

For international students

Admission to the course requires: a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or equivalent professional experience of no less than three years in a relevant field such as journalism, public relations, media relations or media research.

IELTS: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band; TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing; Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
