RMIT’s Graduate Certificate of Project Management will equip you with management and leadership skills. This certificate emphasises the practical application of theory to develop your capacity to respond to current and emerging issues and trends. You will critically engage with project management theory and best practice principles and evaluate and implement project management strategies using real world project-based cases and examples.

This certificate will provide you with a foundation to further develop your project management capability through your professional practice and/or further study.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification). To study this program you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests: IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 7.0 (with no individual band below 6.5); TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 94 (with minimum of 19 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 20 in Speaking and 24 in Writing); Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 65 (with no communication band less than 58); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum of 185 with no less than 176 in any component

For international students

You must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in any discipline.

You may also be considered if you do not have an undergraduate degree but have a minimum of 5 years professional work experience in a related industry or professional experience at a senior level that is less than 5 years.

English language requirements

To study this program you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests:

IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
