What will I learn?

The Graduate Diploma in Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music is designed to extend candidates' technical mastery of their instrument or voice while deepening their knowledge of repertoire and performance practice. This program may be taken in any of the Conservatorium's instrumental areas, including orchestral and solo instruments, early music and jazz.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing; IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band; TOEFL - PBT score: A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing.

For international students

TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 73 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing

IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
