What will I learn?

AIH’s Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems (Data Analytics) is embedded in the Master of Business Information Systems (Data Analytics) and has been designed as an exit qualification and an alternative pathway to further study in the Master level qualification. It equips students with the skills needed for paraprofessional of executive and management roles in ICT sector with proficient data analytics knowledge and skills and further study at the postgraduate level. The course is underpinned by business information systems core units such as information systems applications in business, software development, systems design, database management system, professional practice in information systems and business process management, and as such, reflect the AIH’s Graduate Attributes. It is further enhanced by the specialised data analytic units such as big data and data visualisation and discovering data analytics. Due to the rapidly changing environment, especially in the job market, the Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems (Data Analytics) focuses on future-proofing graduates with the graduate attributes and learning outcomes to adapt and strive in their career progression.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must provide evidence of the following to demonstrate they have successfully met one of the following - A completed Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or higher in any discipline from an Australian university or college or international equivalent, or A recognised Diploma or equivalent and two years relevant professional experience, or A minimum of five years relevant professional experience may enrol in this course (subject to the Dean or Program Managers approval).
