What will I learn?

The Master of Professional Accounting provides training in the technical aspects of the preparation of accounting data develops your skills in the application of accounting information to solve problems and make decisions and develops the important professional skills such as communication and critical thinking. You'll be able to complete the professional study requirements of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) qualification as part of this degree.This course provides an opportunity for graduates to obtain a qualification that is recognised by professional accounting bodies and the wider business community. Graduates who hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting should seek advice from the Business School before applying for this course.

Entry requirements

For international students

(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have— (a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification*, as recognised by UWA; and either: (b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent; or (c) at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or (2) completed a Graduate Certificate in Commerce at UWA. *Applicants who have a Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, or an equivalent qualification, are not eligible for admission.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
