What will I learn?

Why study Mathematical Physics? (Honors)

The Honors in Mathematical Physics program gives you the opportunity to combine studies in high-level mathematics with studies in high-level physics. The program is designed to teach you how mathematics is fundamental for theoretical and experimental physics and how physical systems can be described and analyzed mathematically. By completing this degree you will be well suited to pursue graduate studies in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.

This program can only be taken as part of a BSc with Honors degree.

Why take the BSc Specialization degree?

The Bachelor of Science Specialization degree provides a focused education in one program. You will take most of your courses in your main subject area, and are expected to maintain a higher standard of academic achievement. A Specialization degree can provide the background to help you proceed to a higher degree, but its primary function is to provide a comprehensive education at the undergraduate level.

This program can also be taken as part of a BSc Specialization degree.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students applying directly from high school.

Admission is based on complete academic history and achievement in three main areas: Grades, English proficiency, and completion of required subjects.

English language Requirement:

TOEFL: iBT: At least 90 with a minimum score of 21 points in each section

IELTS(Academic): At least 6.5 with no band less than 6.0

CanTEST(Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): At least 4.5, with no part lower than 4

PTE(Academic): At least 61, with no less than 60 in each communicative skill

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language assessment) Either CAEL (paper) or CAEL CE (computer): A score of at least 70, with no band less than 60

Duolingo English Test: 120 for English Language Proficiency, with no sub score below 100
