In Centennial College's baking and pastry labs, including a one-of-a-kind commercial bake shop as well as a cafe, restaurant and event centre, you hone the skills for which employers are looking. From fine decorating and finishing skills to large quantity production techniques, this offering ensures that you are work-ready upon completion.

To even further increase your employability, you also leave the Pre-Employment - Baking program with important industry certifications such as Smart Serve, Safe Food Handlers and CPR.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS: 6.0 A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80 plus (internet based with no test below 20)
  • CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 60
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 51 plus
  • ITEP (International Test of English Proficiency) score of 3.7 plus.
