Develop innovative tech solutions to overcome dynamic challenges and help industries evolve worldwide.Learn to use and adapt state-of-the-art technology to meet the needs of industries and organizations throughout Canada and across the globe.Master software development to delivery of computer applications focused on providing an exceptional customer experience for business. In this program, you will gain the skills and knowledge related to all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, building, testing, deployment, and maintenance in the cloud. You will also use agile processes and collaboration tools to work in teams, implement user experience (UX) perspectives and write technical and business documentation.Prepare for career success by developing important skills in automation, architecture and design, API development, containerization and virtualization, team-based software development, source and version control, and query languages. As a graduate of this program, youll also master web application development tools, the agile methodology, programming languages, and continuous integration and deployment of secure code. In addition to classroom learning, this program includes a work-integrated learning term that gives you real-world industry experience through an industry project or a paid co-op work position or applied research.

Entry requirements

Regular Admission Requirements

Grade 12

Submit proof of graduation from or enrolment in Grade 12

If you provide proof of enrolment at time of application, your official final grades indicating successful completion must be submitted by July 15 for fall enrolment or by the deadline specified in your admission letter.

Academic Requirement

High school graduation is not required, but you must have successfully completed or be enrolled in:

One credit in each of the following courses:

Grade 12 English 40S

Grade 12 Math 40S

or

RRC's Introduction to Business program (this program is no longer offered by the College). A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required, however a minimum GPA of 2.5 is recommended.

English Language Requirements:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic): Listening 6.0, Speaking 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 or

CAEL and CAEL Online (Canadian Academic English Language): Listening 60, Speaking 50, Reading 60, Writing 60

PTE - Academic Online Assessment (Pearson Test of English): Listening 50, Speaking 50, Reading 50, Writing 50

TOEFL - iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language - internet Based Test): Listening 19, Speaking 18, Reading 18, Writing 21

Duolingo (Duolingo English Test): minimum overall score of 115 required.
