What will I learn?

This program will empower you to work in a field that affects peoples' lives. You’ll focus on either adult education and community engagement or educational administration and leadership.

This MEd degree is project-based. We also offer a thesis-based MA degree, which we recommend if you want to pursue further education.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an institution recognized by Uvic; Equivalent of a minimum “B” average over the last two years of your degree; Any requirements specific to your program of study; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): We require a minimum score of 90 from the internet-based TOEFL (IBT). You must also score at least 20 points each in the listening, speaking, reading and writing sections; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): We require minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the IELTS. No individual component can have a score lower than 6.0.

For international students
