Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have completed a OSSD or equivalent. If English is not your first language you must provide proof of English competency. You must have a minimum overall band score of 5.5 on the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent accepted English language proficiency test to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college.

For international students

OSSD or equivalent, ENG4C or ENG4U, any Gr 11 Math (C) or (U)

IELTS (Academic): 5.5 no band less than 5.0

TOELF IBT: 60 + with minimums of 18

TOELF Paper based: 525+

PTE Pearson Test of Academic English: 43+

CEFR Common European Framework of References for Languages / Cambridge Assessment English: B2

EFSET (EF Standard English Test): B2

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language): 55

Cambridge English Exams - Advanced: 165+

ITEP (International Test of English Proficiency): 3.4+

Duolingo: 105+
