What will I learn?

You will be taught by our industry-trained faculty and staff in our 8,000 sq. ft. lab. Students receive extensive training on manual machines as well as automated Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining equipment and gain skills to produce custom parts for virtually any type of vehicle or machinery. Mechanical technicians are sought after in a number of industries including automotive, mining, forestry and aviation, to name a few. Includes a two-week work placement.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have completed a OSSD or equivalent. If English is not your first language you must provide proof of English competency. You must have a minimum overall band score of 5.5 on the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent accepted English language proficiency test to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college.

For international students

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) Equivalent;

If English is not your first language you must provide proof of English competency. You must have a minimum overall band score of 5.5 on the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent accepted English language proficiency test to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college. The higher English language proficiency standard will apply.
