What will I learn?

UTP Stage II: Arts is equivalent to the first year of University of Manitoba's Bachelor of Arts degree. Faculty of Arts graduates acquire the oral and written communication skills, research abilities and critical thinking skills that are highly sought after by today’s employers in a variety of fields.

Entry requirements

For international students

Entry into UTP Stage II generally requires the successful completion of Year 12 of secondary school or its equivalent with overall and individual subject requirements depending on program.

English language qualification

IELTS - 5.5 with no band lower than 5.0

TOEFL Computer/Paper/IBT - 196 / 525 / 69 (no band lower than 15)

EIKEN Japan - Pre-1

GCE 'O' Levels First Language English (Oral Endorsement) – C

HKDSE - English Level 3

SPM English (1119) - C4

International Baccalaureate - Standard 4 or Higher 3

Pearson Test of English (PTE) - 46 with no band below 42
