The University offers two types of postgraduate programmes: a direct entry postgraduate degree programme (one year full-time, two to four years part-time) and a two-year full-time postgraduate programme with year one as a preparatory year and year two as the degree year.
We offer a variety of research opportunities from master of research degrees to doctoral work - the most advanced form of postgraduate study.

If you apply to a PhD programme, you will generally need to hold an honours degree at 2:1 level (for applicants graduating from a university in the UK) or above (or international equivalent) in an appropriate subject.
