What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Education students in the Department of Economics receive a wide range of training within the subject, didactics and related disciplines.

The study of B. Ed. in economics serves to develop basic scientific competencies in order to develop them in the long term and to critically examine current economic issues. The B. Ed. a first general, scientifically based professional qualification for graduates in the field of economics. In addition to basic economics training, the course includes specializations in other core subjects of business administration (e.g. investment and financing; marketing; internal accounting; work, personnel and organization). In addition to subject-specific training, there is subject-specific didactic training that prepares students for teaching in a high school in a practice-oriented manner. In the educational science part of the course, students gain insight into pedagogical and school pedagogical issues. With the successful completion of the bachelor's degree, the graduates are able to move safely in the complex knowledge worlds of economics.
