What will I learn?

The BA in Education, Business Studies and Accounting programme (post-primary) is a four-year, full-time, undergraduate concurrent teacher education degree (Level 8), currently offered at MIC, St Patrick’s Campus, Thurles. Graduates are qualified to teach Business Studies and Accounting to honours Leaving Certificate level.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Other English Language requirements: A minimum score of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer-based) in the TOEFL test.

For international students

High school graduation diploma with GPA of 3.0 or above that includes English, another language and mathematics.

English Language Requirements

Applicants for whom English is not a first language must provide evidence of their proficiency level English in the form of an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) composite score of 6.5 – 7.0 with no less than 6.0 in any one component, or IELTS equivalent accepted by UL.
