CELT offers support for research projects on a variety of topics in the field of higher education research. Admission is based on a research proposal from the applicant following discussion with the member of staff whose academic area of interest is most appropriate.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Second Class Honours in a Level 8 (bachelor’s or equivalent) engineering degree in a related discipline from a recognised university or third-level college, with substantial elements of energy, mechanical, electrical and/or civil engineering. English Language Requirements: IELTS: 6.5 overall; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88; Pearson PTE: 61; Duolingo English Test: 110.

For international students

For admission to an MLitt degree, a primary degree with upper second class honours or equivalent is a minimum requirement.
