What will I learn?

Developing comfortable, safe cars that are also energy and resource efficient is a goal of great urgency for the car industry. Instead of just manufacturing them, however, characteristics such as their relationship with people, society, and environment must also be considered. We also need to make use of knowledge and insights from both the humanities and social sciences. The AMS is the first knowledge hub designed for this purpose in Japan, and there is nothing like it anywhere else in the world. Through the integration of knowledge, the AMS seeks to create a new automotive society and educate highly capable experts who are able to innovatively resolve a variety of issues involving automobiles and frontier technologies.
