What will I learn?

Programme Objectives

Programme Structures

The course is offered in full-time mode and based on an 8 Semester Academic Year with several subjects being delivered and assessed in each semester. The course requires students to undergo 6 months of industrial training during the short semester of their third year.

Career Prospects

Graduates of the programme can work as accountants, auditors, finance officers, tax officers, tax consultant, entrepreneurs, business/entrepreneur consultant, insurance advisors/consultants, company secretaries, bank officers, risk managers, chief executive officers, etc.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘A’ Level , Diploma in the related field or other equivalent pre-university examinations. English Language requirements: A minimum score of 500 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (or TOEFL (IBT) > 59) or an overall band score of 5.5 in IELTS (Academic) or an overall band score of 5.5 in TEEP (UTMSPACE) or an overall band score of 3 in MUET (STPM holder) or Completion of ELS Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) Level 107 or higher.

For international students

A Senior High School Certificate/Senior Secondary School/other equivalent pre-university qualifications from government schools (with a period of at least 12 years of study from primary to higher secondary)

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - The minimum scores of 500 (PBT TOEFL) or 59 (IBT TOEFL)

ELS Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) - Completion of Level 107 or higher
