As the Fourth Industrial Revolution brings forth unprecedented technological disruptions that are reinventing the rules and changing the way businesses are conducted, enterprises, be it start-ups or multinationals, need to keep pace and change or risk being wiped out.

If you are keen to venture into business, management, information technology (IT) or actuarial science, our Foundation in Arts programme, will give you a strong foundation to start with; a strong grounding in mathematics, basic computing and statistics with additional subjects specialising in the respective three disciplines.

In addition to acquiring relevant subject knowledge, you will also be supported and mentored by our distinguished professors throughout your studies so that you can develop the right critical and creative thinking and study skills to ensure a smooth academic and cultural transition when you move to your degree level study in management, actuarial science or information technology.

Career Opportunities

Obtaining your Executive Diploma in Real Estate is your first step to becoming a Probationary Estate Agent (PEA). Upon fulfilling further requirements and examinations you will qualify as a full-fledged Registered Estate Agent (REA).

As a Registered Estate Agent (REA), your career opportunities include:

Setting-up your own real estate firm. The firm can be either operated as a sole proprietorship, partnership, or body corporate (Sdn Bhd).

Employment as a Managing Director/ Executive Director/ Director/ Resident Manager in a registered real estate firm.

Employing up to a total of 30 real estate negotiators to assist the real estate agent in providing real estate services.

Providing real estate services in assisting property owners in selling, renting and leasing out their properties and also in assisting buyers, tenants and lessees in securing their properties.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Malaysian SPM/ O-Levels/ UEC or equivalent.

A distinction (A+, A or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level; or MUET Band 5; or a score of 196 (computer-based) / 525 (writing-based) / 69-70 (internet-based) in TOEFL; or Band 4.0 in IELTS.
