What will I learn?

Master of Renewable Energy programme is a matching programme for the Master of Energy Science from Kyoto University, Japan under the UM-Kyoto University double Degree MoA that offers to produce experts in the said field among local and international students. This coursework-based programme’s total credit hours allocated for the research component constitute less than thirty (30) percent of the total credit hours of the whole programme.

The students will be exposed to the latest equipment, tools, techniques and methods to achieve their goals in the course of this programme. In addition, they will also benefit from the industry-relevant technical field trips to various advanced institutions and establishments around the world. The students will have the opportunity to observe and emulate the latest technologies and best practises during these field trips.

Entry requirements

For international students

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with minimum CGPA 3.0 or its equivalent.

Need to have at least:

IELTS: Band 5.5 (academic)

TOEFL: 550 paper-based / 213 computer-based / 80 internet-based
