What will I learn?

The Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) Program is a one year full time and two years part time intensive program designed as a coursework programme.

The Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) is a program to enhance student’s skilled in the field of Public Health, and able to contribute in academic institutions, health services and government or private medical facilities or laboratory and field research.

The program is designed primarily for graduates to have a good understanding of public health issues, technical skills; attitudes to public health practice wherever and are capable of implementing continuous learning to enhance their career in public health

Career Path

The graduates will have good career opportunities as researcher, academician, and consultants in any institutions of research and higher education, government and non-government agencies in medical and health sciences and related fields.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 from any IHL as approved by the Senate of UniKL or Bachelor’s degree with CGPA of 2.50 and a working experience of at least 2 years in a related field. English Language requirements: They should also satisfy the following TOEFL / IELTS requirements: IELTS: 5.5 - 6.0; TOEFL: 65-79 (IBT); TOEFL score of 525-550 (paper based test), 197-213 (computer based test) and students who have attained the above test of proficiency in English are exempted from taking any English Placement Test (EPT) / English Preparatory Programs (EPP) courses.

For international students

Bachelor degree (Level 6 MQF) in Allied Health or related field approved by the Senate, and achieved at least a cumulative grade point average (CGPA of 3.00 or 70% marks (International Student) and a minimum of two (2) years working experience in a public health or related field (International exclude).

IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 525 or equivalent.
