What will I learn?

Do you have a bachelor's degree and are planning to move into postgraduate study? Gain an understanding of key business disciplines in as little as one semester.

The Graduate Certificate in Business prepares you for further study or helps you advance your career through increased knowledge in specific areas within business. It's designed for students who want to move into postgraduate business study and need a foundation in business concepts. It's also suitable for people who have an undergraduate degree other than business and want to develop skills for a career in business.

You gain an understanding of business concepts in specific business disciplines of your choice.

You can choose your papers from the Bachelor of Business. Most papers from the Bachelor of Business are available for Graduate Certificate in Business students to choose from. You can tailor your study to your needs and career goals.

You take four 15-point papers, of which at least three must be level 7.

Entry requirements

For international students

A bachelor’s degree OR
Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree

English Language Requirements:

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; AUT Academic English with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
