What will I learn?

Youll be studying with other fine arts students in courses at 200, 300, 400 and 700-level, but predominantly 300. In the large art studio courses youll have the support to work in any media in an interdisciplinary studio environment. This includes sculpture, painting, drawing, performance, installation, moving image, photography, printmaking, site-responsive work, curatorial activities and art writing. Other study could include a range of studio courses that develop your practice further. Critical and contextual studies also help expand your knowledge of art and design discourse. All students must meet university entrance requirements to be admitted to the University.Specific requirementsThis is a selected entry qualification. This means there are a number of extra requirements you must meet.To be admitted to the Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts you willhave been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree or equivalent orhave demonstrated equivalent practical professional andor scholarly experience.You will also need totake part in an interview at which you demonstrate readiness to undertake your desired course of studysubmit a satisfactory portfolio of work to show you are at the standard necessary to undertake work up to 300-level and beyondprovide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities.International English Language Requirements IELTS - 6.0 overall and minimum 5.5 in each bandTOEFL iBT - Overall score 80 minimum 19 in WritingCambridge English - B2 First or B2 First for schools or C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.NCEL - Level 4 (Academic)PTE - 50 overall and minimum 42 in each communicative skillsLanguageCert - C1 Expert IESOL (LRWS) with PASS and no less than Pass in each skill
