What will I learn?

Take your passion for cooking to the next level, where you will build on the knowledge and techniques developed in the Certificate in Cookery (Level 4) and gain the expertise required for progression as a chef in the hospitality industry. In this course you will develop advanced cookery skills as well as administrative and kitchen management skills from running a commercial kitchen to creating original menus. You’ll get to visit a New Zealand food supplier to see where some of the food or ingredients you work with comes from and you’ll have an opportunity to secure an internship where you’ll gain invaluable work experience.
