What will I learn?

This programme is offered by Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University. This is a one year top-up Joint Honours degree which is a direct Honours with dual specialisation. It consists of 6 modules and may be completed in a minimum of 8 months in Singapore. Each unit is supported with 24-36 contact hours conducted on weekdays.

Delivery Method

This programme consists of 12 modules and may be completed in a minimum of 16 months, by enrolling in 2 modules per academic term over 6 terms. Each module is supported with approximately 36 contact hours over an academic term. Programmes are scheduled for 5 days a week, 3 hours a day. Student are expected to be on campus for classes, workshops and self-study.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students with Polytechnic Diplomas will gain entry to Year 2 of the programme, and they can complete the programme in 16 months instead of 28 months. The Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Events and Human Resource Management (Double Major) accepts a wide range of qualifications with advanced standing: These include: Polytechnic Diploma; Advanced Diploma; Kaplan Diploma; Private Diploma will be assessed on a case-by-case basis ACCA. Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging units to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge. The final decision rests with Murdoch University. Successful completion of a recognized approved Diploma qualification of higher, where the language of instruction was English. English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.0 – 6.5 (to be assessed by the university).
