Accounting is essential to every industry – from your favourite products and platforms, to favoured sports teams and causes. By studying for this Degree, you will acquire the necessary professional and creative skills to shape business interactions in a creative, well-informed and ethical way. Students will explore and understand how to make decisions related to buying and selling shares, lending or borrowing money, and providing goods for cash or on credit. Career Opportunities
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Criminology (Double Major) from Murdoch University. The Degree is exactly the same as that awarded to on-campus graduates in Australia.

Applicants with a Polytechnic Diploma may be exempted from up to 12 units and can gain entry to Year 2 of the programme. Applicants with a Murdoch University-recognised Kaplan Diploma or a private Diploma may be exempted from up to 8 units and can also gain entry to Year 2 of the programme.
This Degree programme accepts the following qualifications, which includes:
Year 2 Entry
Kaplan Diploma; OR
Polytechnic Diploma; OR
Other equivalent qualifications awarded by other Singapore-registered Private Education Institutions.
Year 1 Entry
Applicants admitted to the Bachelors Degree programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the prerequisite knowledge.
English Language Requirements
Applicants are required to meet the Universitys English language requirement:
An approved Diploma qualification or higher, where the language of instruction was English, OR
GCE O-Level English Language or Literature in English with Grade C or better; OR
IELTS 6.0 (with no band below 6.0)*; OR
Kaplan Diploma in Professional Business English (PBEP) with a score of 75% (Distinction) or higher*; OR
Any other equivalent English language qualification.
*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
