The Finance Major provides you with a better understanding of capital investment, cost of capital, dividend policy, efficient capital markets, forward exchange contracts, futures, portfolio management, sources of funds, the use of options, working capital management and more.
On the other hand, the Politics and International Studies Major will pique your interest if you are actively participating in shaping the local and global forces that affect political institutions and their policies. It will enable you to take up effective roles in local, state, national and international political institutions by developing your deep understanding of real-world political and policy issues, and encourage you to apply your knowledge and skill sets to it.
Students have the option to enrol in either Single or Double Majors
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Business in Finance and Politics and International Studies from Murdoch University, Australia.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in Australia.

Applicants with a Polytechnic Diploma may be exempted from up to 12 units and can gain entry to Year 2 of the programme. Applicants with a Murdoch University-recognised Kaplan Diploma or a private Diploma may be exempted from up to 8 units and can also gain entry to Year 2 of the programme.
This Degree programme accepts a wide range of qualifications, which includes:
Year 2 Entry
Kaplan Diploma; OR
Polytechnic Diploma; OR
Other equivalent qualifications awarded by other Singapore-registered Private Education Institutions
Year 1 Entry
Applicants admitted to the Bachelors Degree programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the prerequisite knowledge.
English Language Requirements
Applicants are required to meet the Universitys English language requirements:
An approved Diploma qualification or higher, where the language of instruction was English, OR
GCE O-Level English Language or Literature in English with Grade C or better; OR
IELTS 6.0 (with no band below 6.0)*; OR
Kaplan Diploma in Professional Business English (PBEP) with a score of 75% (Distinction) or higher*; OR
Any other equivalent English language qualification.
