What will I learn?

This programme will provide students with a solid foundation of IT fundamentals that will open the door to endless opportunities. Students will learn IT systems are designed and developed, understand the issues faced by industries today, and develop the skills needed to deploy wired and wireless networks securely.

Create state-of-the-art software and web-based applications that allow users to work more efficiently. Manage cloud services through the use of virtualization and industry-leading software. Enjoy opportunities to gain industry-recognized certifications, such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. Undergo a 16-week industry attachment programme with a company such as Cisco Systems, Crimson Logic, Hewlett-Packard, NCS, or Red Hat.

Graduates are valued for their broad expertise in IT fundamentals. Students will be able to pursue opportunities in roles such as:

  • Cloud Operation Engineer
  • IT Analyst
  • Software Developer
  • System and Network Administrator

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: O-level holders must have English language with grades 1-7, mathematics (elementary/additional) with grades 1-6, any three other subjects : with grade 1-6; NITEC holders must have completed subjects with GPA equal to 3.5; higher NITEC holders must have completed subjects with GPA equal to 2.0. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: A-level holders must have the obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), obtain an A-E grade for 3 other H2 subjects, and must have taken GCE 'A' Level examinations whilst studying in a Junior College / Millennia Institute in Singapore.
