Have you ever wondered how cargo is transported across borders? Logistics and supply chain professionals are working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services from the point of origin to its final destination in the fastest, safest and cheapest way possible. The Diploma in International Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ILSCM) will equip you with skills and knowledge to do just that!

A Robust Education

You will receive a solid foundation in international logistics and supply chain management with modules such as maritime and aviation management, warehousing, distribution, transportation and many more. Next, modules on economics, accounting, and finance, purchasing and marketing will provide you with a robust business education. These add up to a broad-based and comprehensive curriculum.

In your third year, you will be given the choice of two exciting elective options: Dangerous Goods & Cold Chain Logistics or Projects & Events Logistics. These specialised modules will cover topics including dangerous goods and cold chain management, pharmaceutical logistics, project management, and art and wine logistics.

Top-notch Internships & Overseas Programmes

You can look forward to a six-month internship at top logistics and supply chain companies such as Maersk Singapore, Lufthansa Cargo, DHL, PSA, SDV Logistics, CWT and Yang Kee Logistics in your final year. You can also choose to go on a five-week Overseas Immersion Programme during your study.

Careers

With Singapore as a global logistics hub and supply chain nerve centre, job prospects are bright for ILSCM graduates. You can join the aviation, maritime and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) industries, in jobs such as purchasing officer, inventory controller, freight forwarding specialist, transportation analyst, air cargo specialist, line management analyst or ship capacity planner.

Further studies

ILSCM graduates may proceed to pursue degrees in logistics and supply chain management as well as other business degree courses at all local and overseas universities such as RMIT University, Curtin University, Northumbria University, University of Huddersfield and many more

Entry requirements

For international students

To be eligible for our diplomas, candidates must have the following GCE ‘O’ Level examination (or equivalent) results.

Subject : English Language as a First Language: 1–6 ('O' Level Grade); Mathematics (Elementary/Additional): 1–6 ('O' Level Grade); Any three other subjects: 1–6 ('O' Level Grade)

You must also have sat for a Humanities subject or Art / Music or Principles of Accounts or a relevant OSIE / Applied Subject and fulfil the aggregate computation requirements.
