The Foundation Certificate in Engineering and Technology provides students with the knowledge and necessary skillset in several core areas of Engineering and Technology. The programme aims to provide comprehensive and deep understanding of cyber security and technical understanding of engineering. The modules have been carefully selected to cover the practical skills and knowledge highly in-demand specialisations of the industry.
The programme will provide an opportunity to recent graduates, early and mid-career professionals in any discipline to move into the field of Engineering and Cyber Security. The course is designed to equip students with all the necessary fundamentals and allow them to work at a professional level and develop a range of skillset in areas such as cyber security and network essentials, 3D printing technology, drafting & design using AutoCAD.
Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, and English as a Second Language (Count-in speaking) subjects are included in the course. Student must achieve an overall mark of at least 50% in PSB Academy assessments of the IGCSE subjects to obtain a pass grade and satisfy the PSB Academy Foundation Certificate requirement.
Students have the option to sit for the IGCSE external examinations at PSB Academy. They may use the IGCSE qualifications as an entry requirement to progress to the Certificate level.
