What will I learn?

Our institute participates in the Swiss Joint Master of Science in Computer Science, a study program offered by the universities of Bern, Neuchâtel, and Fribourg.

To enroll in the joint master program, you do need to register through the matriculation services of one of the partner universities.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants holding foreign university degrees can be admitted without restriction to all degree courses as long as they hold a recognized university degree at bachelor, master, or licentiate level (minimum duration of study: 3 years full-time). A university degree is only considered acceptable if it was acquired as part of a successfully completed academic degree course at a state or state-recognized university.

For international students

a) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized university

b) Bachelor's degree with Computer Science as an additional subject, or an equivalent degree from a recognized university that would allow for the successful completion of the Master program with additional coursework for a maximum of 60 ECTS credits.

c) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a Swiss university with a grade of at least 5.0.

Admission to the Master program in Computer Science. Additional coursework requirement of 40-60 ECTS credits.
