What will I learn?

Our Building Services and Sustainable Engineering Degree Apprenticeship looks at the comfort and safety of people inside buildings, plus energy use and conservation. Learn how to design, install and maintain the services in a building.

Engineers work closely with architects to design a healthy indoor environment and promote comfortable thermal, aural and visual conditions in buildings.

You’ll consider acoustics, health and safety, heating, lighting, power and supply, and security. Sustainability issues will place you at the cutting edge of designing, developing and managing the new technologies that help to keep a building’s carbon emissions low.
